TRASMISSION
- This virus only infects humans only ("Polio").
- It is very contagious, spreads from person to person contact ("Polio").
- The contagion lives in the infected persons throat, make sure to cover up your mouth while coughing, or sneeze into an elbow. This will make it harder for droplets from your cough or sneeze to get on to another person ("Polio").
- Even if someone has no symptoms of polio they can still spread the virus and make others sick ("Polio")
- If someone has polio there is no treatment to help ("Polio").
prevention
- The only prevention from getting this virus is getting a vaccine as a child by preparing their bodies to fight if they do get it ("Polio").
- 99 out of 100 children who get the vaccine are protected ("Polio").
- There are two types of vaccines ("Polio?").
